About The Fischer Group

In 1893 Milton’s father, Andrew Fischer, settled in Black Creek, Wisconsin. His roots of agriculture, real estate, and auctioneering served him well in the developing and growing Wisconsin. After World War II, two of Andrew’s four sons continued the tradition and broke off on their own, focusing on construction, residential building, and real estate development. This was the beginning of The Fischer Group’s corporate growth.

Milton’s vision of quality and value has helped the Fischer Group companies and partnerships quietly become one of Wisconsin’s established residential and light commercial contractors as well as a respected real estate development and consulting organization. The group has been involved as real estate owners, developers, residential builders, designers, consultants, and real estate brokers of numerous developments with exceptional partners over its 63 year history.

The Fischer Group continues with J.L. Fischer Inc., managed by Milton’s son Jack L. Fischer, AIA. Jack has over 40 years of national and international experience in consulting, architecture, engineering, finance, and development. The fourth generation of Fischer’s involved in the Fischer Group includes Matthew, Jonathan, and Katherine Fischer, who contribute in various ways in their areas of expertise.
